Feast Day: St. Ephrem

St. Ephrem (306-373)

St. Ephrem is known as the “harp of the Holy Spirit” for the lovely and deeply symbolic hymns he composed. He became a great liturgical poet, whose works comprise exegetical writings, homilies, and hymns. He was canonized in 1920 and also named a Doctor of the Church.
