Where will YOU be on September 24 & 25?

Why don’t you come join me at the Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival in Berryville, VA (just east of Winchester)? I’ll be teaching three classes with my able assistant, Kit, in tow.

Unfortunately, some classes got cancelled due to lack of interest (I’m only teaching one session of the fiber class). A new class-listing with descriptions is available and they’ll keep registrations open until right before the 24th, so if you haven’t registered yet, go right ahead. Here’s what I’ll be teaching:

  1. Saturday, 24th — 1:00-4:00pm — Dream It, Design It, Knit It — a 3-hour discussion of how to get those ideas out of your head and onto your needles!
  2. Sunday, 25th — 9:00-12:00 noon — Fiber: It’s Not Just for Breakfast Anymore — we’ll talk about the different fibers, their characteristics, why some are blended with others, and which ones will work best for your project in this 3-hour session
  3. Sunday, 25th — 1:00-4:00pm — Tips, Tricks and Techniques — bring all your questions or concerns about your own knitting or just sit and knit while I give you a plethora of ideas for making your knitting better, quicker, neater and generally have more fun creating with fiber

Even if you don’t get a chance to take any classes … please stop by and say howdy if you are able to come out. The weather should be glorious … the fibers are fantastic … and the scenery hard to be beat! Fiber festivals always have something for everyone in the family so come on down … or up … or out!
