Knitting: Fun (and quick) Christmas Knit-Gifting

Here are two of my latest designs, both knit with chunky yarn so they knit up quickly for last-minute knit-gifting!

Frosty Fun (cowl)

Frosty Fun (cowl) uses one skein (175 yds) of Rowan’s gorgeous 100% wool Colourscape in “Frosty” … the stitch pattern is a fun mix of YOs, k2tog/ssk, and twisted stitches to make this gorgeous and cozy 10-1/2 x 40 inch cowl to brighten the dreary days of winter.

Prism Magic (scarf)

Prism Magic (scarf) also uses Colourscape, this time in “Kaliedescope”. The stitch pattern (charted and row-by-row) gives you practice in twisted stitches and mixes knits and purls for a textured pattern that knits up quickly, but keeps you interested while you work the 26 row repeat.
