Snow-designing: A New Lacy Poncho

Spring Snow Poncho

Spring Snow Poncho

This is a really fun one to knit (and looks stunning in real-life!):
* lace stitch-pattern on edge of cowl
* stockinette cowl that is long enough to pull up into a hood
* lacy poncho ending in a fun scalloped-edge
* all knit in the round and in one piece (so minimal finicky-finishing!)
* uses 800 yards of fingering weight yarn — a couple of 100g skeins of sock yarn in all those scrumptious self-striping combinations!). The sample used two skeins of Mary Maxim’s A Step Above in Forest Glen (which I ordered from Amazon … in the comfort of my cozy cottage!)

You’ll love this one. Available for immediate download in my Ravelry Store, Craftsy Site and (for my European knitterly friends) on LoveKnitting.

Let me know what you think of this one.
