this says it all ...

this says it all …

Estimates are that 56 million babies have been aborted, killed in the past 41 years. When are we going to stop this madness? As St. Theresa of Calcutta said:

The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father’s role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts–a child–as a competitor, an intrusion and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the dependent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters. And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners.

Today, 5 buses full of students, faculty and staff from Pope John Paul the Great braved the single-digit weather to the National March for Life, to ask, along with thousands of others, for the removal of this awful decision and the subsequent massacre of the pre-born. They marched on the streets of the Nation’s capital … in front of the Washington Monument, raised to remember the man that helped establish our country … passed the monuments and museums and offices of our Government … stopping before the Supreme Court where this heinous decision was handed down 41 years ago. Around the world, similar protests have been held … in Paris, Dublin, San Francisco, Chicago … all protesting against the vile slaughter of the innocent.

Please join us in prayer that this may end … that next year we will March in thanksgiving for a reversal in this way of thinking.

  • it is NOT a choice … it is a baby …
  • it is NOT healthcare … it is murder …
  • it is not a feminist issue … it is the encouragement of a culture of death and destruction, anathema to what women do: create and nurture
