It’s been a while … I haven’t stopped designing or knitting … I’ve just not had time to post patterns!

So here ya go with one that is perfect timing for those babies that are born during the late spring/summer months, when the weather is so warm but you still want to cover up your baby! Or, you want to put a snazzy bit of fluff on your little bundle.

This “Bloomin’ Baby Binky” is just the thing! This design knits up fast from the center out … using dpns and then switching to circs. The border, which is knitted as the final rounds, is knit on a needle a little bigger than the body so that the blanket can block out to a perfect circle.

Using approx 430 yards of superwash sock yarn (sample used Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in eye-popping “Pink Blossom”, this binky can become a wall-hanging for the toddler’s room or a shawl/wrap for mama. The pattern for this, with written and charted directions, is available in my Ravelry store or on Craftsy for immediate download.

Enjoy!
