Two (well , three really!) designs for winter knitting
A cozy cowl knit in 800 yards fingering-weight sock yarn. The sample used two skeins of Plymouth’s Sockotta (now discontinued but any sock yarn would work). The nice thing about using a cotton/wool blend for this cowl is that it makes it a year-round accessory. Available both on Ravelry and Craftsy!
A fun coordinating set! A loose-necked cowl using the traditional Norwegian “happy couple” motif … and reindeer, trees and snowflakes. The coordinating cap (in a slouchy, teen-ok’d style) takes the reindeer and a few snowflakes and repeats them around the cap … with a large “snowflake” created by the crown shaping. Knit using worsted-weight 100% alpaca in two classic colors (220 yards of MC, 330 yards of CC) this is a fun knit for the winter! This design is available on Ravelry and Craftsy.
Enjoy!
