I know we are still in the dog-days of summer, with temps here in Virginia in the 80s and 90s … but this design is just too cute not to post now (and this gives y’all time to make it before Christmas!) …
Christmas Baby

Isn’t it pretty? It uses about 750 yards of lace-weight alpace/silk blend … and lots of knitting to “grow” the lace trees, finishing up with a lace border and than a slightly frilled stockinette edge. The pattern is both written and charted and is pretty addictive to knit as it’s all done in the round … starting at the center with 8 sts and ending with a loose bind-off of 1440 sts. This one is available for immediate download in my Ravelry store, my Craftsy site and on my Love Knitting page (for those in Europe).

Please check out all my designs … and happy knitting!
