~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? Take a photo and share it either on your blog or on Flickr. Leave a link below to share your photo with the rest of us! ~ Ginny at small things

Good morning …. this yarn-along will be a tad brief today as I’m off and running to get HamBone to work, HotRod to a middle-schooler get together at Church (at which I too will help), and then back home to build HotRod’s new loft bed (in order to FINALLY get the boys room in some semblance of neatness and order).

My knitting mojo is back but I haven’t had time to post my latest design, Raleigh Wrap … hopefully I’ll get that up by the end of the week … say a prayer, please! I am currently working on a cashmere shawlette design — this one uses Gedifra’s worsted weight cashmere (in a natural and pale gray) with a carry-along of Kreinik’s Twist in silver with the gray to add a bit of bling without too much effort. It’s coming out cool and I’ll post a pic as soon as I can.

Finished The Complete Short Stories of Miss Marple …. a fabulous read with interesting plots and great mysteries. As soon as I finished those, I picked up the Hercule Poirot Short Stories … and really enjoying reading those in the evening for “cool down”.

So what are you knitting and reading … wanna come play?
