Today, my younger daughter … who has been growing her hair out since 2009 … decided that her hair was finally long enough to donate to Locks of Love. The ladies at the haircutter couldn’t believe how beautifully thick and soft her hair was. The new do is lovely.

Before we left for the haircutter, we measured from the top of her head to the bottom of her hair – about 25 inches worth – so much more than the minimum 10 inches. Here’s what it looked like before:
