Shores of Innisfree poncho

Shores of Innisfree poncho

This one is so soft … so comfy … so cozy for cold blustery days, like today in Virginia. The loose, meandering cables are knit flat and then turned on the side to knit the yoke and ribbed cowl collar in the round. This design (shown in a large) takes 400-500 yards of bulky boucle (sample used two skeins of Bernat’s “Soft Boucle” in evergreen) and knits up quickly on US#11 needles (altho you will switch to 9’s for a short bit). The pattern as written includes sizes Small, Medium and Large … but their are notes about how to make this larger or longer!

This design is available for immediate download in my Ravelry store, my Craftsy page and, for those in Europe, from LoveKnitting.
