Happy Easter … and a freebie for you

Good morning … Easter Sunday is 10 days away. Are you ready?
Three knitted, nested baskets made from a re-purposed sheet
All you’ll need for this project is a twin-size sheet cut into strips and knitted, using size 11 dpns. If you’d prefer to make it with yarn, you’ll need about 175 yds of a superbulky (or hold 4 or 5 strands of DK or worsted together). The directions include tips on cutting the sheet (to minimize joins, you’ll cut in a spiral) and other information that helps with making these up.
Oh, and if you need something to FILL the baskets, check out my Elegant Eliza and Exquisite Edgar dolls — perfectly playable, chewable and lovable since they’re knit in one piece with some removable clothes. Eliza has a knit-in leotard with a coordinating skirt while Edgar sports a knit in shirt (coordinating with Eliza’s of course) and removable dinner jacket. The dolls are knit in worsted cotton and work up quickly.Happy Easter and enjoy the springtime knits available in my Ravelry shop.
P.S. If you’d like a free copy of the nested-baskets pattern, please PM me on Ravelry (MaryGildersleeve) and I’ll send it right out. Just let me know you saw this offer here and let me know what you’re going to use to make it up: fabric or yarn? If you don’t belong to Ravelry, please leave a comment below and I’ll get back with you. This offer good until April 4, 2013.
