Ordination 2011 (Archdiocese of Washington, D.C.)

… but you need to read all this to find the “deal”!

The new (or rather, corrected) translation of the Catholic Mass will go into effect the first Sunday of Advent (November 27th). Are you ready? Do your kids understand why some of the typical responses will change? What will this mean and why do we need these changes?

Walter Crawford and Maureen Wittman, owners of Homeschool Connections have come to the rescue: they are offering a high school level religion course (equivalent to 2/3 of a high school credit) all about the Mass and the new translation. Taught by Dr. Gotcher, a theologian in the process of writing a book about the new translation, will be online-teaching the course, titled The Mass Explained: the New Translation. Parents are also welcome to enroll in the class (just let Dr. Gotcher know that you are an adult).

Now, for the deal: if you want to sign up for this course (which starts at the end of September and lasts for 8 classes, ending just before the first Sunday of Advent) … use the code j1d0r0. This code will take $30 off the cost of the course. Cool huh?
