Our "word" for the year: the 12 Fruits of the Holy Spirit

April crept in on cat feet this time around and I forgot to post our motto for the month. As I’ve mentioned before, rather than doing a year-long motto, we are doing a monthly motto using the Fruits of the Holy Spirit as our guide.

It seems particularly appropriate that our fifth month is LONG-SUFFERING; even more interesting when you realize that I am posting this on Good Friday … the day of ultimate suffering … the day Jesus suffered for a righteous cause, suffered unbelievably, suffered for us all.

Here’s our poster for the month, a quote from Pope Leo XIII from 1900 … a quote that 212 years later still rings true …
