HAPPY NEW YEAR … well, liturgically, a new year starts with the first Sunday of Advent. So, happy new year …
For our motto this year, and in keeping with the request of the Holy Father in his APOSTOLIC LETTER “MOTU PROPRIO DATA” PORTA FIDEI we are going to be focused on FAITH this year:
Faith … the size of a mustard seed
And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to [this] mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. (Luke 17:5-6)
Each month, we’ll focus on a different scriptural quote, writings of the Fathers and Popes, or Catechism to help us deepen our faith as the year progresses. I’ll post each month’s quote here … for those who would like to join us!
