Malcolm’s Christmas Stocking

It’s been a while since I’ve had new designs posted on Knit Picks’ website but two more went up yesterday …

Malcolm’s Christmas Stocking is a fun stranded-knit stocking, knit in the round, with lovely colors. This really does look great knit up in KP’s Cot-lin (although any DK would do …). The charts are full-color and you can choose to use the colors I chose (which I of course think are lovely) or make your own “kit” by using four of the 30 colors available.

Rib Tickler — The Worsted Version

They also posted Rib Tickler Hoodie – the worsted version. The version for Knit Picks has a removal cowl that, when tucked into the crew-neck collar, makes a hoodie! In KP’s Comfy (a worsted pima cotton-acrylic blend), this drapes beautifully. I used color “Fairy Tale” (and why it’s called “fairy tale”, I have no idea …) which I think is beautiful. But, again, their are 30 colors to choose from just in the Comfy … and many more in KP’s other worsted weight yarns (including their Swish Worsted, a superwash merino).

I have 16 patterns in the Knit Picks Independent Designer Program … here’s a link if you’d like to see them all. All of these patterns, and many others for a total of 122, are also available in my Ravelry shop.
