A Tribute to EZ ... a poncho

A Tribute to EZ … a poncho

I have ALWAYS been a big fan of Elizabeth Zimmermann … lovingly known as EZ to her huge fan-base. EZ’s knitting book, Knitting Without Tears, is the first knitting book I read. I was 8. My life was changed when I read her words … seriously.

And so here is my tribute to this amazing gift to the knitting world: A Tribute to EZ … a poncho … is a fun, in-the-round knit that is worked loosely and then blocked hard to make a light, airy confection. I finished this a while ago and I always get great compliments when I wear mine.

I hope you do, too.

This pattern is available for immediate download on Ravelry, Craftsy and (for my European friends) soon on LoveKnitting. Check it out … I think you’ll enjoy knitting it and WEARING it!

Enjoy!
