Patterns, that is …

I’ve Got the Blues Shawl
Southern Spring Lace Shawl

These patterns are such fun to knit and wear! Lots of fun knitting to exercise your knitting skills.

The “I’ve Got the Blues” is a fun, first-lace project with its expansive bits of stockinette and garter and just a bit of lace to practice yarn-overs and chart reading (altho the pattern does have written out, row by row, directions). You will learn some fun techniques like how to do a garter-tab shawl start (which is not hard at all … there are many variations shown on YouTube, but this one from Jimmy Beans Wool is pretty clear).

The “Southern Spring Laceis a bit of lace-knitting challenge. The shawl starts at the top back neck with a garter-tab and then quickly increases in 4 triangles (with an opening in the center) until you have over 400 sts. The leaf-lace border is knit-on while you bind-off the live sts. FUN!

These two designs, as well as many others, are available in my Ravelry store and on LoveKnitting (if you’re in Europe) for immediate download. I’m always available if you have any knitterly questions.

ENJOY!
