St. Andrew Novena Prayer

St. Andrew Novena Prayer

… for a VERY special and important intention.

I will be praying the St. Andrew Novena, a 15-per-day from 11/30-12/24 marathon of prayer. I will be praying for a VERY special intention and will add the intentions of you all, too.

I love this prayer: it is a very meditative prayer that helps me increase my awareness of the real focus of Christmas and helps me prepare spiritually for His coming. I particularly “feel” the line that mentions that Jesus was born “at Midnight … in piercing cold“. This really speaks to me of His humility and willingness to embrace our trials. The intercessory power of St. Andrew, especially within this novena, has been shown over and over as glimpsed in this blog post from Mary at Young and Catholic dot Net.

So, won’t you join me … whether you have something special you would like to pray for … or want to add your prayers to mine … or you simply want to focus more spiritually during this Advent season …

Blessings and prayers for all of you and yours!
